Our general sense of the whole journey was an immersive experience with spirit and the natural world. We became aligned with the natural world and the spirit of the ancestors of Mongolia and the landscape and beauty of this natural land. We often remarked how we were literally in the middle of nowhere and yet felt the full attention of the universe was on us… there was inner harmony that was a byproduct of our travels. I think I did permanent damage to my faulty sense of self and revealed a place of harmonic joy while in Mongolia. I’m changed and so much more for the better.

I made my first trip to Mongolia, and I still wish it was not my last one. The country is simply beautiful, with kind people and so much to offer. My tour was organized by a Mongolian tour operating company and the team members were working with local communities, therefore we were accompanied by a local tour guide. So I have met Shinetsetseg, and she has made the visit to Mongolia the awesome experience you can imagine. Best tour guide I have ever met! Getting answers to all kinds of questions… and the fun of discussion, while we were driving on lonely roads of Gobi. I really wish to come back to Mongolia and discover more fantastic mongolian landscapes.
One thing I can tell you is we were wrapped in a cocoon of enchantment the moment we entered the small valley to begin what would be an incredibly special few days with a tribe of people that truly touched our hearts. Meeting with some of these villagers, including the local Shaman, we were able to learn about their cultural and spiritual beliefs & practices which was a gift beyond words.
Although this was an extremely adventurous journey that we embarked on, it was a journey that blessed each of us with an experience that will last a lifetime. It made me realize that we are all on a journey that is represented in the lives we live. And it’s up to each of us to consciously choose to live it to the fullest every single day.
It has been a wonderful journey in my lifetime after my 3 week tour in Mongolia, but I will never forget it. It was one of my dreams which came true. Can’t forget beautiful forests, never ending grass, lakes and blue skies. I felt like I was in history. Our tour guide uncovered the history, habits of Mongolia and its people with very good English like natives. I personally thank her for taking care of me when I got sick, had high fevers and couldn’t even move. Time spent in Mongolia, and especially The Taiga, was irreplaceable. It was a spectacular journey. We could not have benefited more due to the incredibly hard work of our tour guide and her team of horsewomen and horsemen, our chef, and drivers… Each of these people made us feel so cared for in an otherwise very rustic journey. The locals we were introduced to along the way, and the interpretation/translation offered by our guide was…I have no words other than to say it was so deeply meaningful… a true spiritual and visceral reminder of who we are and who we can be to people everywhere on this life journey. For all those reasons, it is its own category of five star experience. One you will cherish for a lifetime.
